Mark Ford

Mark Ford has extensive work experience in automation and engineering roles. Mark is currently working as the Head of Automation & Engineering at ASOS.com since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at THG from 2017 to 2022, holding positions such as Head of Solutions, Head of Technical Engineering, and Technical Engineering Manager. Before THG, they worked at Symtech International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. from 2014 to 2017 as the Automation & Systems Integration Manager and Senior Process Engineer. Earlier in their career, they worked at George Weston Foods from 2010 to 2014, holding roles such as Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Production Operations Manager, Control Systems Engineer, and Project Manager. Their work experience includes leading process design and technology rollout, consulting on automation and fulfillment solutions, designing and delivering automated fulfillment centers, managing capital projects, advising on automation technologies, overseeing construction projects, improving plant automated processing systems, managing operations, and commissioning and optimizing various food processing systems.

Mark Ford attended the University of Melbourne from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. During the same period, they also completed a Bachelor of Computer Science (B.CS) degree, although the field of study for this degree is unspecified.
