Sonny Scott is currently the Chief Officer and Relief Master at ASP Ship Management, serving on the Ro-Pax vessel, the Spirit of Tasmania. Holding a Master Mariner Unlimited Licence, Sonny has obtained Pilot Exemption Certificates for the Ports of Geelong and Devonport. Previous experience includes working on Ro-Ros, Bulk Carriers, Border Protection ships, and Tankers. Sonny also volunteered aboard the M.V. Africa Mercy, a hospital ship providing essential medical care in West Africa. Sonny is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nautical Science and a Graduate Certificate in Maritime and Logistics Management at the University of Tasmania.
