Gerald Manuel

Gerald Manuel is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in research and development chemistry, currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Advanced Sterilization Products since October 2021. In this role, Gerald specializes in the development of biocides and chemical consumables for medical device sterilization, serving as a subject matter expert for vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilization. Notably, Gerald led a team to create a novel disinfectant, achieving over 95% on-time delivery while optimizing efficacy and stability. Prior to this, Gerald developed liquid-stable blood and urine controls at Quantimetrix and conducted significant research on protein microarrays during graduate studies at UC Irvine, culminating in a PhD in Chemistry. Additional experience includes research associate work at the University of California, Riverside, and a laboratory technician position at BSK Associates.
