Heath Patterson is an expert in molecular image data analysis and bioinformatics, specializing in spatial data integration and visualization. They served as a Research Instructor in the Department of Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University from 2018 to 2023, supporting multimodal mass spectrometry imaging experiments while developing their own research track. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow focused on imaging mass spectrometry in the Caprioli Research Group. Currently, as the Director of Spatial Biology Bioinformatics at Aspect Analytics, they lead projects in spatial data analysis and visualization, transforming prototypes into cloud-based products. Heath earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wyoming and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Université de Montréal.
