Guy Cohen

Guy Cohen has extensive work experience in the technology and semiconductor industry. Guy currently holds the position of VP R&D and site manager at Aspect Imaging since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Applied Materials as the Director of Strategic Marketing starting in 2018. From 2009 to 2018, they held the role of Sr. Director and Head of R&D and Engineering at KLA-Tencor, where they managed a large team and budget. Guy also served as VP of Technology Development and Product at Saifun Semiconductors Ltd. from 2001 to 2007, leading the market ramp of multiple NVM products. Guy began their career at SCD, where they established a new business unit and held various roles focused on the development and manufacturing of semiconductor lasers.

Guy Cohen completed their education in the field of physics and mathematics. Guy began with a Bachelor of Science degree at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1984 to 1986. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1986 to 1989. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Physics from the same institute between 1991 and 1995.
