Ran Gladstone

Ran Gladstone, Ph.D., serves as a magnet design physicist at Aspect Imaging since January 2023, focusing on the design and experimental verification of permanent magnets and coils for MRI and NMR devices. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate research assistant at Cornell University from August 2016 to January 2023, where research concentrated on photonic topological insulators and their implementation in various frequencies. Ran also worked as a teaching assistant for Lasers and Photonics Lab and Intermediate Electromagnetism courses. Earlier, from August 2013 to July 2016, Ran was a PHY algorithms engineering student at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, involved in advanced communication algorithm design and simulation. Ran's career began with the Israeli Defense Forces as an operations research analyst from December 2007 to November 2010, conducting research and providing technical advice. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Cornell University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
