Bill Parker has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Their first job was as an Infrastructure Engineering Manager at Savi Technology in 1998. Bill then worked as a Senior Consultant at Trianz in 2002, followed by a role as Business Program Manager (Process Engineering) at Cisco in the same year. In 2007, they worked as a Project Director at Beautiful Day, a Product Engineering Program Manager at VeriSign, and as an Operations Leader/Search Manager/Section Chief at the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Director of Cloud Consulting and Integration Services at Sequoia Cloud Solutions. Bill then joined FusionStorm in 2017 as a Practice Director of Cloud Solutions. Most recently, they have been a founding team member and Customer Success Lead for Aspenify Inc. since 2018.

Bill Parker has a long and varied education history. Bill holds an Associate of Science in Network Engineering from the Master's Institute, which they obtained in 1994-1995. Bill also served in the United States Air Force from 1987-1991, where they were a Specialist in Information Systems Programming and Analysis. In 2007, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Bill also holds an Advanced Wilderness Life Support certification from the University of Utah School of Medicine, a Wilderness First Responder certification from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI), and a CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification from the American Red Cross. In 2011, they obtained their Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM) certification from Stanford University, and in 2017, they obtained their Stanford Certified Risk Manager certification from Stanford University. Bill also holds an ICS-400 certification from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in coordination with DHS and FEMA, which they obtained in 2012. Additionally, they hold an Amazon Web Services Business Professional certification, which they obtained in 2015.
