Laura Rokohl is the VP of Product Marketing at Aspen Technology. Laura has been with the company since June 1999, starting as the Supply Chain Product Marketing Manager. In their current role, Laura is responsible for the global marketing plan for AspenTech’s Supply Chain Management solution in Chemicals, Polymers, and Specialty Chemicals market segments.
Under Laura’s direction, the supply chain suite has been successfully positioned both internally to Aspen sales teams and externally to the Aspen customer base in the process industry. Laura has developed a mix of integrated tactics to achieve this, including online and digital tactics for awareness building and demand generation, as well as face-to-face customer events. Laura also plans and executes every aspect of the Supply Chain Management track at AspenTech’s global conference, including agenda development, securing customer speakers, driving attendance, and physically running the 2-day session.
In addition to their event planning and marketing duties, Laura also performs market research and analysis, incorporating customer insights into all appropriate marketing and sales enablement material. Laura has also written thought leadership papers that have appeared in industry publications in North America, Europe, and Asia such as Supply & Demand Chain Exec, iChemE, ChemWeek, and more. Laura is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience and recently helped create new product web pages during a website redesign, working with MARCOM to identify imagery and write compelling content.
Laura Rokohl has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a M.S. in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin.
They are on a team with Tina Chee Lai Cheng - Senior Director of Marketing, APAC, Richard Krieger - VP, Global Marketing, and Ken Slater - Senior Director, Global Marketing Operations. Their manager is Lawrence Schwartz, SVP, Chief Marketing Officer.
