Daniel Wurm is a dedicated researcher and professional with extensive experience in pharmacology and toxicology. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona, Daniel focuses on the impact of NRF2 on mitochondria, cardiac tissue response to oxidative stress, and translational reprogramming during oxidative stress. Daniel is also actively involved in the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics as a Councilor and Communications Officer for the Division of Toxicology, along with serving as a Graduate Student Representative within the same division. Previous experience includes working as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, where responsibilities included managing patient prescriptions, and as an intern at PRA Health Sciences, where project work involved developing a proof of concept for a synthetic population for testing purposes. Daniel Wurm is pursuing a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Arizona, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
