Joao Marques

Joao Marques is a Senior Research Analyst at Aspetar سبيتار. Prior to this role, Joao served as the Head of Football Performance and Health Department at Avaí Futebol Clube and Club Athletico Paranaense. With extensive experience in strength and conditioning coaching, Joao has worked at Aspire Academy, Aspetar سبيتار, and Al-Sadd Sports Club in various capacities. Joao is currently pursuing a PhD at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, focusing on assessing change of direction following ACL reconstruction using wearable devices. Previous educational achievements include a Master's degree in Science and Strength & Conditioning from St Mary's University and a Licenciatura Plena em Educação Física in Sports and Exercise from Universidade de Ribeirão Preto.
