Ann Welch

Ann Welch, FSA, MAAA, is an experienced actuary with a strong background in actuarial modeling, risk management, and governance. At F&G, Ann held multiple roles, including Actuary on the Corporate Actuarial Modernization team, where collaboration with cross-functional teams facilitated a successful conversion to a new Actuarial Modeling System. As AVP of Actuarial Models Governance, Ann established a new team and framework to ensure the integrity of actuarial models post-go-live, and in the role of AVP of ERM, focused on developing F&G's model risk framework. Prior to F&G, Ann worked at TIAA, where responsibilities included managing ALM risk, leading the actuarial development program, and enhancing modeling reliability for pension liabilities. Currently, Ann serves as AVP of ERM at Aspida and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Union College.
