Chad Burns

Chad Burns has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Chad is currently serving as the Chief Distribution Officer at Aspida since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Head of Annuity Distribution at Aspida from July 2017 to March 2022.

Before joining Aspida, Chad held the position of Senior Vice President National Accounts at Colorado Bankers Life Insurance Company® from July 2017 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for meeting production goals for annuities across various distribution channels, building a distribution team, and collaborating with operations and product design teams.

Chad also worked at Transamerica as a Regional Vice President from August 2012 to July 2017, and at The Hartford as a Regional Sales Director from July 2011 to August 2012. Chad represented the Prudential variable annuity product line as a Regional Vice President at Prudential Financial from June 2009 to July 2011, and the AXA variable annuity product line as a Regional Vice President at AXA Equitable from February 2009 to May 2009.

Before transitioning into the insurance and financial industry, Chad had a background in real estate. Chad worked as a Regional Marketing Director at The Hartford from July 2006 to February 2009 and as a New Home Consultant at Coldwell Banker Real Estate from April 1997 to June 2006. Additionally, they served as a New Home Sales Consultant at St Lawerence Homes from July 1995 to April 1997.

Chad Burns attended Mars Hill University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Following this, they enrolled at North Carolina State University from 1991 to 1995, majoring in Business Administration and Management, General.
