Led by Dr. Dana Anaby at McGill University's School of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, ASPIRE Lab is at the forefront of participation-focused rehabilitation research. We develop and test innovative interventions (i.e., PREP;  (Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation) and assessment tools (i.e., Y-PEM; youth/young adult participation and environment measure) to understand environmental barriers and resources and improve participation of people with disabilities across home, school, workplace, and community contexts.

>Pioneering the Y-PEM (Youth and Young Adults Participation and Environment Measure): a comprehensive self-reported tool capturing participation across home, school, community, and workplace settings for ages 12-30 
>Leading Project BEYOND : testing how participation-based interventions simultaneously improve body functions (motor, cognitive, affective) and activity performance in youth with physical disabilities 
Conducting CIHR-funded pragmatic clinical trials that demonstrate real-world benefits of participation-based interventions 
>Leading knowledge translation initiatives that accelerate evidence uptake in clinical practice
