Steven Simms

Steven Simms has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steven is currently working as a Client Director at Aspirent since January 2022. Prior to this, Steven co-founded The Rural Urban Connection in 2020, where they focused on bringing regeneratively raised food from their farm to families in urban areas.

From 2019 to 2021, Steven worked as a Managing Consultant at Thought Logic Consulting, assisting organizations in improving operations and driving business transformation. Before that, they served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Chief of Staff at The Owens Group International, where they were responsible for analyzing growth opportunities and preparing the leadership team for strategic planning.

Steven also has experience as a Strategy & Operations Consultant at Slalom Consulting, where they helped companies in Atlanta tackle their biggest challenges and launch new products. Steven started their career as a Senior Consultant at IBM and later worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Cargill.

In addition, Steven has project management experience from their time at the Georgia State Finance & Investment Commission, where they served as a Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. Steven has also worked as a Summer Research Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
