Sara Eisen

Sara Eisen, M.S., is a Microbiologist V Contractor at the CDC with extensive experience in microbiology and molecular biology. They earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology from Georgia State University, focusing on microbiology. Previously, Sara worked as a Research Technician II at Georgia Tech, where they engineered biological systems and trained undergraduates. They contributed to the Bacterial Special Pathogens Branch at G2S Corporation and are currently involved in the Bacterial Meningitis Lab at the CDC, supporting population-based surveillance and outbreak investigations.
