We have been setting standards in the field of school furniture for 80 years. A success story that began when Adam Stegner established a sawmill in Germany's Upper Franconia with 15 staff members all those years ago. But even if the times have changed: our pieces have become real classics over the years – all while continuing to reinvent ourselves. 

Over the past 80 years, we have developed many new materials – such as the practically indestructible PAGHOLZ®.  We have also made concepts like the all-round PU edging a standard for durable school furniture. Because we know: the successful combination of selected materials and intelligent details guarantees that our furniture is welcomed in any educational institute – by teachers just as much as by students.
