Travis Kupsche

Travis Kupsche is the Director of Engineering at AssemblyAI since April 2023. Prior to that, Travis worked at Google from July 2014 to April 2023 in various roles such as Area Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Site Reliability Engineer focusing on Google Cloud infrastructure. Before their time at Google, Travis worked as a Software Engineer at Syntricity, Inc, where Travis designed and implemented statistical analysis tools for semiconductor yield analysis software. Travis also has experience in designing GIS-based analysis software for Navy operations planning while working at Applied Operations Research Inc. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from UC San Diego.
