Cory Yu

Cory Yu has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. From 2019 to the present, Cory worked at Assent Compliance, starting as a Customer Success Associate and later moving up to the role of Customer Success Manager. Assent Compliance is a global leader in supply chain data management. Cory's responsibilities included providing SaaS solutions, protecting corporate brands, increasing market accessibility, and reducing operational and financial risk.

Before joining Assent Compliance, Cory worked at Mindwire Systems Ltd. from 2017 to 2019 as an Account Executive. Mindwire Systems specializes in IT professional services, specifically recruitment, screening, qualification, and management of independent consultants.

Prior to that, Cory was with OnPath Business Solutions from 2007 to 2017, holding two roles. Firstly, as a Human Resources Coordinator, Cory handled full-cycle recruitment, including business development, job postings, interviewing, reference checks, security clearance, and background checks. Later, as a Senior Business Development Representative, Cory generated leads and sales on behalf of reputable organizations such as Hewlett Packard, Google, EDC, Bell, and Yellow Pages. In this role, Cory engaged with small, medium, and enterprise businesses, communicating with C-level executives to discuss business needs and expectations.

Cory Yu attended the University of Ottawa from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Criminology. They did not obtain a degree during this period. Additionally, Cory obtained two certifications: Level 2 Customer Success Advanced from Growth Molecules, LLC in November 2021, and Level 1 Customer Success Foundations from Growth Molecules in September 2021.
