Customer Success Manager at Assent

Nick Curley has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Nick began their career in the Construction and Oil & Energy Industries, where they gained valuable workplace and environmental safety skills, situational awareness skills, teamwork skills, and verbal communication skills. Nick also worked as a car detailer in the Services Industry, further developing time management skills, attention to detail skills, logistics skills, and customer relationship management skills.

From 2005 to 2019, Nick worked in the Hospitality & Tourism Industries, where they held various customer service roles in hotels, bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions across Canada. In these roles, they delivered exceptional customer experiences, working both independently and as part of a team. Nick took on supervisor/delegator responsibilities when needed, multitasked, paid attention to detail, made quick decisions based on rapidly changing situations, read people and body language, balanced patron respect and safety, and used humor appropriately to achieve win/win outcomes.

Nick's most recent experience is with Assent, where they have held multiple positions. Nick started as a Supplier Support Specialist in 2019 and then transitioned to the position of Senior Supplier Advocate for a brief period in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Customer Success Associate and was promoted to the role of Customer Success Manager in April 2022.

In addition to their work experience, Nick has worked as a Bartender/Key Holder at The Bitter End from 2015 to 2018 and as a Boat Manager/Bartender at Murphy's on the Water from 2013 to 2015. Nick also gained experience at The Hampton Conference Center as a Bar Captain/Bartender/Setups from 2009 to 2014 and at Banff Rocky Mountain Resort as a Food and Beverage Supervisor from 2012 to 2013.

Throughout their career, Nick has displayed strong customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work well in teams, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Nick Curley has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Nick also holds a College Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Collège La Cité. Nick obtained their High School Diploma from École secondaire publique Louis Riel. In addition to their formal education, Nick has obtained two certifications: Level 2 Customer Success Advanced from Growth Molecules, LLC in November 2021, and Level 1 Customer Success Foundations from the same institution in September 2021.
