Stephen Ngobia

Stephen Ngobia's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies.

From 2018 to the present, they have worked at Assent as a Data Intelligence Specialist, focusing on data analysis and helping the company make data-informed business decisions. Stephen also worked as a Data Intelligence Analyst and a Research & Data Specialist in the same company.

In 2018, Stephen worked at VSO as part of the International Citizen Service, where they planned and coordinated work with other youths, organized training on life skills and entrepreneurship, and conducted ICT training for high school and vocational training centers. Stephen also created an online skills database for youth opportunities.

Stephen was a Programs Intern at the National Council of Churches Kenya from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Stephen participated in the Youth Leadership Exchange program at Norwegian Church Aid, where they lived, studied, and worked in Norway. Stephen was involved in awareness-raising campaigns, fundraising events, and workshops.

From 2014 to 2016, Stephen served as the Managing Director of iDream Green Enterprises, and in 2015, they worked as a Sales Executive at ISOFT Systems.

Earlier in their career, Stephen worked as a Data Clerk at Quickmart Supermarket in 2013 and as a System Administrator at Matphez Cyber Cafe in 2012.

Stephen Ngobia has a diverse education history. In 2007 to 2010, they attended Nakuru Day Secondary School in Kenya, where they obtained a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a focus on the 8-4-4 curriculum. In 2012, they attended the Kenya-German Training Institute and earned a certificate in Computer Packages. From 2013 to 2016, they enrolled in Nairobi Aviation College, where they pursued a diploma in Computer Software Engineering. In 2017, they furthered their education by completing a diploma in Global Development at Sunnmøre Folkehøgskule. Most recently, in 2019, they briefly enrolled at the Open University of Mauritius, acquiring knowledge of Sustainable Development in Business through a Commonwealth of Learning program.

Furthermore, Stephen has also obtained several certifications in graphic design and related areas from LinkedIn.
