John Akin

John Akin has over 20 years of work experience as an ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer, with expertise in senior roles. John started their career at Alcatel USA in 1996 and worked there until 2001. John then worked at Infinite Technology Corporation from 2001 to 2002, Covaro Networks from 2002 to 2004, and Ceterus Networks from 2004 to 2005. After that, they joined Sanmina-SCI and Telstrat, Inc. as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer in 2005. In 2006, they became a Staff Design Engineer at Ion Geophysical and worked there until 2009 when they joined DRS Technologies as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer. John worked at DRS Technologies until 2012 when they joined Parker Aerospace as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer and Technical Team Lead until 2014. John then transitioned to the role of Project Engineer at Parker Aerospace from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined ASSET InterTech, Inc. as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer.

John Akin completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science Emphasis from the University of Oklahoma between 1991 and 1996.
