Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Amit is currently employed as the Director of Data Management at AssetMark starting from November 2022. Prior to this, Amit worked at Oracle from December 2019 to November 2022, holding the positions of Senior Manager, Software Engineer and Manager, Software Engineering. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and directing various software projects, overseeing service operations, and liaising between technical delivery towers and IT consultants. Before their time at Oracle, Amit worked at BNSF Railway as an Operations Research Analyst in 2012 and at the University of Texas at Dallas as a Teaching Assistant from June 2011 to February 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked at Hexaware Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2007 to June 2010. Amit has a strong background in software engineering, data management, and project management.

Amit Kumar holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Technologies from Nagpur University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Amit has obtained certifications in "Big Data in the Age of AI" and "Data Engineering Foundations" from LinkedIn in August 2022.
