Tom McCarty

Tom McCarty began their work experience as an IT Analyst at Caterpillar Inc. in 2001, where they led the technical system implementation of a Dealer Management System and developed tools for managing compliance. Tom then moved on to become a Six Sigma Black Belt, managing the pilot release and creating implementation plans for subsequent projects. Tom later worked as a Dealer IT Rep, managing multiple Dealer Management System implementations in the Asia Pacific Region. McCarty then transitioned to the role of Dealer IT Architect before joining FDC Solutions in 2012. At FDC Solutions, they served as a Consultant Project Manager, providing leadership to a team of developers and leading multiple system integrations and web-based application implementations. In 2021, McCarty joined Assignar as a Senior Software Engineer.

Tom McCarty earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business, from 1997 to 2001. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in November 2021, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021.
