It is included in the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic of 1976, in its Article 79, an aspect reinforced by Article 1 of Law no. 30/2004, of 21 July - Basic Law of Sport - which assumes sport as something indispensable in the formation of the person and the development of society. The perception that through Chess we could go where other sports cannot and the positive impact of using this game as a tool for innovation and social responsibility, made Chess2All become a reality. On March 8, 2023, International Women's Day, the first step was taken towards the establishment of the Chess2All Association. A non-profit association with an inclusive, innovative and social sporting nature based in the municipality of Matosinhos, in Portugal.
