Ben Pointer

Ben Pointer has extensive maritime experience spanning various roles in tug management and maritime operations. Starting as a Deck Officer Cadet at Clyde Marine Training/Zodiac Maritime Agencies, Ben pursued training for OOW Certification while gaining experience on container and PCTC vessels. After serving as a Technical Assistant at Aspect Land and Hydrographic Surveys Ltd, Ben transitioned to positions as Mate and Tug Master at multiple firms, including MarineCo UK Ltd and TARGE TOWING LIMITED. In the current role as Deputy Harbour Master at Associated British Ports, Ben contributes expertise developed over several years in harbor towage and offshore wind farm operations, backed by a HNC in Nautical Science from City Of Glasgow College.
