David Kuryk, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience, starting their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG Canada from 2006 to 2010, where they developed audit plans and strategies for construction and manufacturing clients. David then became a Tax Manager at KPMG Canada from 2010 to 2013, managing various tax compliance services and providing tax planning advice.
From 2013 to 2015, David worked as a Corporate Controller at K-Bro Linen Systems Inc, overseeing treasury and banking functions and managing relationships with service providers.
Currently, they hold the position of Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Associated Engineering since February 2019. In this role, they manage treasury, insurance, and banking functions for the group of companies, directs finance and accounting staff, and maintains relationships with banks and insurers.
David Kuryk, CPA, CA pursued a degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Alberta between 2002 and 2005. In 2006 and 2007, they attended the Charterted Accountant School of Business to obtain their Chartered Accountant Designation. From 2010 to 2012, they completed the CICA's Indepth Tax Program.
