Michael Mathias has extensive experience in the packaging industry, with a focus on business development and strategy. Michael currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy at Associated Packaging, Inc., where they work to create value through automation and lean-sigma kaizen events. Prior to this role, they were the V.P. of Business Development at Vericool Inc., where they helped develop ground-breaking thermal protective packaging technologies. Michael also held the position of VP of Business Development at New-Tech Packaging for over 15 years. Earlier in their career, Michael worked at xpedx and MeadWestvaco, where they specialized in packaging solutions for various leading retail brands.
Michael Mathias earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Music and Communications from Heidelberg University from 1977 to 1980. Michael then pursued an Executive Masters in International Business from Saint Louis University from 1994 to 1996.
