Ann Garcelon

Ann Garcelon has extensive experience in the field of journalism and election reporting, currently serving as the State Election Coordinator for The Associated Press since July 1984. In this role, Ann coordinates the reporting of election results from various state officials to ensure accurate dissemination to AP members, managing states including West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Prior to this, Ann worked as a Legislative Assistant for the West Virginia State Senate from January 2001 to March 2012 and served as Communications Director and Press Secretary for WVDHHR from 1990 to 2000. Ann holds both a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Master of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University.
