Asa Gartrell

Asa Gartrell is an experienced professional currently working as a Vote Entry Operator for The Associated Press since September 2024, where responsibilities include real-time vote tabulation on election night. In addition, Asa has been a journalist for The Catalyst Newspaper since February 2024 and previously served as a KRCC News Intern at Colorado Public Radio from June to August 2024, developing audio journalism skills and producing features and digital articles. Previous roles include retail cashier positions at Mountain Standard Goods and Zupan's Markets, and landscaping positions at Colorado College, Beargrass Landscaping, and As the Crow Flies.
