Bill Barrow is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and a strong academic background in journalism. Currently serving as a National Politics Reporter for The Associated Press since July 2012, Bill has covered significant political events, including President Joe Biden's 2020 campaign. As a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University from August 2021 to May 2022, Bill explored the complexities of identity and politics in contemporary America. Prior to this, Bill reported for The Times-Picayune, focusing on health care and post-Hurricane Katrina recovery, and for the Press-Register in Alabama, where coverage included significant elections and higher education issues.
