Ian Rosenberg

Ian Rosenberg is currently the Vice President and Associate General Counsel at The Associated Press, overseeing news, litigation, and intellectual property issues globally. They have been an adjunct associate professor at Brooklyn College since 2016, teaching graduate students about media and communication history and regulation. Ian's prior experience includes serving as General Counsel for Latchkey Films and as Assistant Chief Counsel for ABC, where they focused on First Amendment, libel, and regulatory counsel for various media outlets. They also worked as a litigation associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and as a law clerk for the United States District Court in the Eastern District of New York. Ian earned a B.S. in Theater and Drama from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. from Cornell Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
