James Pollard

James Pollard is a dedicated journalist with experience in philanthropy and state government reporting at The Associated Press since June 2022. Prior roles include a reporting fellowship at Texas Tribune and an editorial internship with NBCUniversal's National Digital Team. James began building a strong foundation in journalism during time as a research assistant and communications/editorial assistant at Northwestern University, as well as various editorial positions at The Daily Northwestern. Additional experience includes serving as a political reporter for Medill News Service and an editorial news intern at Riverfront Times. James holds a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Northwestern University, completed in 2022.
