Jesse Beday

Jesse Beday is an experienced journalist with a focus on investigative reporting and narrative writing. Currently serving as a Reporter for The Associated Press since July 2022, Jesse previously held a reporter position at The Mercury News from June 2021 to December 2022. Prior to this, Jesse contributed as an Investigative Reporter at the Investigative Reporting Program from September 2019 to June 2021. Jesse holds a Master's degree in Journalism with a specialization in Investigative Reporting and Narrative Writing from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Journalism from the University of Kent.
