Ken Sweet is a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University, currently on leave from the Associated Press, where Ken has served as a Banking Reporter since August 2013. With extensive experience in journalism, Ken has previously worked as a Markets Writer at The Wall Street Journal, a Copy Editor and Reporter at CNN, and as a Contributing Writer for Fox Business Network. Early in his career, Ken also reported for Bloomberg News in Hong Kong. Ken holds a B.J. and B.S. degrees in Journalism, Economics, and Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Hong Kong. In 2024, Ken will pursue a Certificate in Economics and Business Journalism at Columbia University.
