Mark Anderson is a seasoned sports journalist with extensive experience covering a variety of sports. Currently serving as a Las Vegas Sports Reporter for The Associated Press since October 2022, Mark focuses on prominent Las Vegas teams and events, including the Raiders, Golden Knights, and Aces. Prior to this role, Mark spent over two decades at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, where responsibilities included general-assignment reporting, enterprise sports coverage, and a notable tenure covering UNLV athletics. Mark also served as the President of the Football Writers Association of America in 2016. Earlier career highlights include covering Nevada football at the Reno Gazette-Journal and high school sports at the Tallahassee Democrat, along with contributions to the coverage of Florida State and Florida A&M athletics.
