Miranda Calderon

Miranda Calderon is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Research Associate at Democracy Works since July 2024 and as an Election Researcher at The Associated Press since May 2023. Throughout their career, Miranda has held various roles, including Vote Entry Operator at The Associated Press, where support was provided to the Elections Team by collecting primary election vote counts. Previously, as a Research Analyst at Partners, Miranda contributed to data integrity for the 2022 Midterm Election. Additional experience includes a Quality Control Analyst position at The Associated Press and a Policy Intern role at the Harris County Office of Justice and Safety, where thorough research was conducted on offender reentry. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University, where mentorship and dialogue facilitation were key components of earlier roles.
