Paul Haven

Paul Haven has extensive experience in journalism, with a focus on international and investigative reporting. Paul has worked for The Associated Press since 1994, holding various roles such as Vice President and Head of Global News Gathering, Deputy Editor - Latin America and the Caribbean, Global Director of Top Stories, Chief of Bureau in Havana, Cuba, Chief of Bureau in Spain and Portugal, Chief of Bureau in Pakistan and Afghanistan, Supervisory Editor on the Terrorism Investigative Team, and Correspondent covering the drug war in Colombia. Additionally, they served as the News Director for Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada at Associated Press starting in 2016. Prior to joining The Associated Press, Haven worked as a correspondent for Dow Jones Emerging Markets Report.

Paul Haven received a Bachelor of Arts degree in American and Latin American History from Cornell University.
