Previous roles include substantial tenures at CNN, where significant national news and entertainment events were covered, along with freelance positions that enhanced Rick's expertise in high-profile events such as the Oscars and the Grammys. Rick also contributed to Fuse TV, producing music news content. A foundational career began at KYMA TV, with steady advancements through various media outlets, underscoring a strong operational knowledge of broadcast equipment and production techniques. Education includes some college coursework in Radio Production at Arizona Western College and graduation from Yuma High School.
