Sarit Hand is a seasoned digital archivist with extensive experience at the Associated Press since March 2005, currently focused on developing digital preservation strategies and managing repositories for digital assets. In addition to working on digital preservation, Sarit has served as an election-night analyst, utilizing analytical tools to declare election winners, and has managed oral history collections, cataloging over 200 interviews. Contributions to the ArchivesSpace Technical Advisory Committee from June 2019 to June 2023 provided vital technical guidance for the community. Earlier experience as an archivist at The Hermitage included arranging and describing the Rosenkrantz family papers. Sarit holds a Digital Archives Specialist Certificate and a Master's degree in History from William Paterson University, complemented by further archival education at both New York University and NARA.
