Sibi Arasu

Sibi Arasu is an experienced news reporter specializing in climate change, currently working for The Associated Press since August 2022, focusing on reporting from India and South Asia. Prior to this role, Sibi served as a communications consultant at Climate Trends, enhancing public debate on climate resilience and green transition in Tamil Nadu from May 2021 to August 2022. As a freelance journalist from June 2019 to August 2022, Sibi wrote extensively on environmental and scientific issues. Additional roles include communications consultancy at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, assistant editor at Hindustan Times, and senior reporter at Business Line.
