Ted Anthony

Ted Anthony is a seasoned journalist with over three decades of experience at The Associated Press, currently serving as the Global Trends and Culture Editor. In this role, Ted oversees initiatives that focus on intersectional stories related to culture and trends, collaborating with journalists globally. Previous significant positions include Global Director of New Storytelling and Newsroom Innovation and Interim Global Enterprise Editor, where Ted led innovative content creation and strategies for the AP newsroom. Ted co-founded Breadcrumbs Stories, a company dedicated to personal storytelling, drawing on a rich background that includes roles as National Political Editor and Editor-in-chief of the multimedia service asap. Ted holds a BA in History from Penn State University and has extensive international reporting experience, including coverage of major events in China and Iraq.
