Thorsten Overgaard is a seasoned photographer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the photography industry. As the Founder and CEO of World Photo Competition since January 2023, Thorsten oversees an international platform showcasing exceptional photography. Thorsten also serves as President of Always Wear A Camera, which designs and distributes photographic equipment, and leads Photographer Services, Inc., a full-service agency for photographers. In addition to these roles, Thorsten contributes as a writer for the Overgaard Academy for Photography and has been a contributing photographer for The Associated Press and other publications since 2009. Thorsten's work is recognized in various Danish and international magazines, as well as through limited signed editions of photographs. With a background in entrepreneurship, Thorsten's involvement extends to multimedia projects like afterthetsunami.org and previous contributions as a lead judge for I Shot It, Inc. Thorsten's educational foundation includes studies at Aarhus Business College.
