Associated Taxis was established in 1995 and operates from public and private offices situated in Bishop’s Stortford adjacent to London Stansted Airport. Taxi services are provided locally and nationally for journeys commencing or ending in Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted Airport and/or all surrounding areas.

All drivers and vehicles are fully licensed. With over 80 drivers Associated Taxis is the largest licensed taxi and private hire operator in Bishop’s Stortford (also serving Stansted Airport and all surrounding areas).

All staff and drivers are committed to providing the highest possible standard of service and have all either completed, or are in course of completing, a Passenger Transport NVQ.

Safety and operating efficiency are enhanced by the application of the very latest technology. Associated Taxis use fully automated booking and dispatch systems operating from the world’s leading GPC Autocab “Ghost” cloud platform. Cloud based GPC Autocab “Phantom” phone systems provide additional support and service in the form of Caller Line ID (all calls are recorded) and interactive Voice response (IVR) facilities. All vehicles and drivers are tracked and linked to the control room by data streaming and GPRS. A dedicated Associated APP is available to download free from Android and Apple stores offering all customers the opportunity to book directly.

Associated Taxis works closely with: a broad range of local, district, county and national government agencies and bodies; a broad range of local, national and multi-national corporations; most bars, clubs, restaurants, guest houses and hotels; most traders, professionals, shops and stores to ensure the safe carriage of their customers.
