Michael Carter is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as Vice President of People Organisation for Corporate Functions and Global COO Group at Assurant since December 2013, Michael has previously held roles including European HR Director and Statutory Board Member, where responsibilities encompassed all aspects of European HR. Prior to joining Assurant, Michael worked at Assurant Solutions in various HR leadership positions from July 2005 to October 2013, and earlier experience includes serving as an HR Advisor at Policy Administration Services. Michael holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Human Resource Management from Sheffield Hallam University, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
