Michael Klimek

Michael Klimek is an experienced Internal Audit Director at Assurant, having served since February 2001. Approved as SMF-5 as Head of Internal Audit within the UK regulatory Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Michael leads a high-performing team that provides internal audit and risk advisory services across multiple business units. Prior to Assurant, Michael held various roles at Associated Wholesale Grocers and Allied-Signal Aerospace, starting as an Information Technology Auditor and a Business Systems Analyst. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Park University, completed in 1990.
