Steve McDowell

Steve McDowell is a seasoned insurance professional currently serving as a Claim Performance Manager at Assurant since July 2021. Prior experience includes various roles at The Hartford from June 2012 to July 2021, such as Consultant Performance Analytics, Property Process Owner, and Commercial Property Quality Specialist, among others. Earlier in the career, Steve worked at The Hartford from 2008 to 2012 as a Property Team Leader and Property Claims Adjuster, and at Safeco Insurance from 2006 to 2008 as a Property Outside Claim Adjuster. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Illinois State University and an Associate's degree from Spoon River College.
