Tom Cairns

Tom Cairns is a seasoned Senior Financial Executive with a robust background in auditing and financial management. They began their career as a Staff Auditor at Arthur Young & Company from 1973 to 1977, before advancing to Director of Internal Audits at Armco Insurance Group/NN Corporation, where they led a team conducting audits from 1977 to 1987. Following a brief stint as Director of Database Marketing at Communique in 1987, Tom served as Director of Audit Services at AMEV Holdings Inc./Fortis Inc. from 1988 to 1999. Currently, they are the VP of Product Finance at Assurant Health, where they have been employed since 1999, and also work as an Independent Contractor since 2014. Tom holds a BBA in Accounting from the Wisconsin School of Business, earned in 1973.
