Kyle Ryker is the Associate Director of Research for ASSURE, the FAA Center of Excellence for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, a role begun in 2024. Previously, Kyle was a Research Engineer II at Mississippi State University’s Raspet Flight Research Laboratory from 2019 to 2024, where significant contributions included leading multidisciplinary teams and executing federal grants related to UAS and manned aviation research. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Kyle earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 2019 and 2021, respectively, and received the MSU Research Professional Award in 2023 for enhancing UAS research capabilities.
