Simon Chappell

Simon Chappell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Director and Co-Founder of Assured Data Protection since September 2016, Simon is actively involved in the data protection industry, collaborating with innovative vendors like Rubrik. Previously, Simon was the Chairman of ONE Pro Cycling, making history with the UK's first Professional Continental cycling team from October 2014 to November 2016. Additionally, Simon led the Tim Bresnan 2014 Benefit as Chairman, facilitating significant fundraising for charitable causes linked to the esteemed cricketer. Simon's earlier role as CEO and Co-Founder of Backup Technology Limited spanned from September 2005 until the company's acquisition by iomart Group in September 2013, marking a successful transition in Simon's career. Simon is an alumnus of the University of Hull.
