Michael Walker

Michael Walker has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Michael started their career as a Vice President at RBC Capital Markets in 1994, where they underwrote and negotiated transactions for asset-backed commercial paper conduits. Michael then joined XL Capital Assurance in 2002 as a Director, where they cultivated relationships with asset-backed securities buyers and assisted in the placement of over $40 billion of wrapped securities. In 2005, Michael became a Managing Director at Assured Guaranty, where they currently hold this position.

Michael Walker earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Michael later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at Rutgers Business School from 1994 to 1997.
